Go South Coast operates over 600 buses under well-known award winning brands such as Bluestar, morebus, Damory, Southern Vectis, Salisbury Reds, Swindon's Bus Company, UNIBUS and Unilink. We run an interesting mix of local and inter-urban networks from high frequency through to community buses and National Express.

With the continuing development of our operations, there is an opportunity to join the planning team based in our Poole office.

We are looking for an experienced and committed individual for the new role of Assistant Manager to lead our scheduling team of five. You will be able to mentor and support the team, and be responsible for schedule efficiency across Go South Coast, which strikes the right balance between cost-effectiveness and being employee-friendly.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, who you would cover for in his absence, previous scheduling experience is essential and knowledge of the Omnibus software would be an advantage. You will have proven data analysis skills, timetable and network planning experience.

The role will require building strong relationships with the operations managers and work closely with them to improve efficiencies.
